The Vi and Milton Weinstein Hospice (Weinstein Hospice) was established in 1999 to assist adults with life limiting illness to live their final days at home surrounded by loved ones. With every patient there are stories of hope, pain, fear and peace. All of them are special in their own right and so often we are humbled in sharing this stage of life with families. Our presence is based on the belief that quality of life is as important as length of life and no one should have to die alone.
To ensure that we can fulfill the growing needs of families of our community, we depend upon the support of individuals and the community. There are several ways you can make a gift to Weinstein Hospice:
- Donors may designate a gift "in honor of" or "in memory of" a person or organization
- Donors may make a designated or undesignated gift to our annual Friends of Hospice campaign which supports the patient care, community education, bereavement support and the Danny Sklar Palliative Care Program
- Donors may make a planned gift through charitable bequests from wills, life insurance, retirement plans or charitable trusts and annuities
